Castle the Vorselaar - Belgium

The Castle the Vorselaar, situated just outside Antewrp in Belgium, originated in the early Middle Ages and was originally build as a fortress.  After many renovations, developments and extensions the castle has finally gained its final Ghotic appearance in the latter half of the 19th century.

The most recent part-refurbishment was undertaken in 2008 and has helped to restore the castle to its full glory. The interiors have been marvellously renovated and decorated with a variety of profiles from ORAC LUXXUS collection by ORAC DECOR®.

The soft, rounded walls of the tower rooms were beautifully decorated with combination of flexible skirting boards wainscoting, cornices moldings.  The high –skirting effect was also used in the first floor rooms and bathrooms.

The indirect lighting cornices in the basement create a warm, soft-light effect highlighting remarkable hight of the ceiling.
